Gymnastics

British Gymnastics (BG) is the UK National Governing Body for the sport of Gymnastics and is dedicated to developing levels and quality of provision across a range of disciplines. Gymnastics is an accessible and inclusive sport offering opportunities to all ability levels within a range of controlled learning environments. It promotes an active and healthy lifestyle and is recognised as forming the basis for physical literacy by developing fundamental movement skills.

Bishop Sports and Leisure and British Gymnastics, for some considerable time, have worked in partnership, Bishop Sports and Leisure are the official supplier to British Gymnastics for all non competitive equipment and the selected distributor of BG’s Proficiency Awards.

The partnership has included the development and distribution of equipment packages for many schemes, ranging from the successful FUNdamental Funkit Equipment Package, the BG Coaches Hand Apparatus Equipment and the BG Leisure Centre Scheme which is designed to enable, encourage and actively support Leisure Centres (including Fitness Clubs and Community Centres).
