HotSpot® System

The HotSpot® System provides technology of a type previously out of reach for schools and sports coaches. Using touch sensitive pods that communicate wirelessly to a remote base station, you can now collect data on performance and make activities more fun and engaging.
Participants can monitor their own performance and use it to help them improve and enjoy physical activity that much more. The base station can collect any number (0 – 99) of pre-determined hits from the pods or the time taken (accurate to 100th of a second) to complete a task, giving immediate feedback on performance and has the added feature of different ways to start any exercise, either by, reaction or visual count down.
The HotSpot® system is simple to set up – just arrange the pods in any pattern or according to the drill cards, set the base station to count or time and start exercising. The number of combinations is only limited by your imagination.
The system allows objective measurement, target and goal setting, team work, creativity and enables a real understanding of what it is to participate in sport and fitness related activities and has the versatility to access the majority of the P.E curriculum.
It can be used in developing speed/agility, physical co-ordination, skill development, sports specific skill and general fitness whilst providing data to monitor progress, set targets which form a solid basis of improved reporting. Due to the data capture element of the system it naturally lends itself to use within mathematics and science.
